About the Artist

Welcome to my site! A little about me...

I am a self taught artist and truly started painting in 2018; though, I give a lot of credit to my late grandmother for giving me that creative spark when I was much younger! I love to travel and love being outdoors. Witnessing all of the beauty the natural world offers is the inspiration behind most of my pieces.

I do however like to venture to other subjects when I'm feeling feisty- this is when abstract, still life, and portrait paintings come in. Sometimes it's simply a mindfulness exercise to keep me grounded through rough times. I've always struggled with mental health and art has often kept me going.

Art may seem like all I do, but don't be fooled! I work full time as a Laboratory Supervisor, am working toward a master's degree and I play the flute in a community band. What keeps me the most busy however, is being a mom to the most precious dog on the planet- Shadow.
